Ethernet

Ethernet terminals allow your card reader to communicate with the server and process the card information for payment. You can use the same phone and Ethernet cords that you use with your standard household lines.

A credit card terminal, also known as an payment terminal or EFTPOS terminal, is a type of a point of sale (POS) terminal that a merchant can use to perform transactions with a credit card. It interfaces with payment cards to make electronic funds transfers.

These terminals protect the merchant, because if the customer attempts to use a card that is expired, stolen or damaged, the payment will be denied and the merchant will avoid giving away their products for an invalid card.
