Tap to Pay
Accept in-person contactless payments directly on a compatible mobile device—no separate card reader required. Customers can pay using contactless credit or debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other supported digital wallets. Device and processor compatibility varies by payment solution.

- Processors: TSYS and Fiserv, including Omaha and Rapid Connect Nashville; availability depends on account configuration
- Apple: iPhone running iOS 17.4 or later; iPads are not supported for hardware-free Tap to Pay
- Android: The SwipeSimple app and Bluetooth readers support Android phones and tablets, but Tap to Pay directly on an Android device is not currently available

SwipeSimple supports both TSYS and Fiserv processing configurations, but its reader-free Tap to Pay feature is currently limited to eligible iPhones.

- Separate line item for surcharge shown on customer receipts
- Debit & prepaid cards automatically excluded to stay compliant
- Merchants can set their own percentage and choose tax treatment right in the Company Settings → Automatic Adjustments menu.
- Surcharging works only on PAX Terminals (not on mobile or web payments) and cannot be combined with other automatic adjustments.
Scheduling with SwipeSimple:
- Merchants can schedule invoices and payments to be sent at a future date or set them to recur automatically.
- Reports can be generated or emailed on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule.
- Merchants can pre-schedule pricing or tax changes for specific users or terminals in Company Settings.
