Support for Automatic Refunds & Voids
You can now process refunds for an order paid for with Intuit Payments — no more logging into your merchant account to process refunds! Speed up store management by creating full or partial refunds and sending the transaction automatically to Intuit by clicking “Refund via Credit Card”.
Securely Save Customer Payment Methods
Your customers can easily & securely save multiple payment methods to their account for a faster checkout. Payment data is stored on Intuit’s secure servers, so PCI compliance is significantly reduced. There’s no limit to number of payment methods a customer can store on their account, and both credit cards and ACH/eChecks are supported.
Customers with US bank accounts can now checkout using their bank account information for a checking or savings account. To have this feature, you must have eChecks enabled for your Intuit Payments account.
Tap to Pay
Accept in-person contactless payments directly on a compatible mobile device—no separate card reader required. Customers can pay using contactless credit or debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other supported digital wallets. Device and processor compatibility varies as follows
- Processor: Intuit Payments—not TSYS or Fiserv
- Apple: iPhone XS or later with the latest version of iOS
- Android: The GoPayment app supports compatible Android phones and tablets, but a QuickBooks card reader is currently required for contactless in-person payments
- Hardware-free Tap to Pay: Available on compatible iPhones
- Applications: QuickBooks GoPayment and QuickBooks Online mobile app
- Additional requirement: An active QuickBooks Payments account and internet connection
